These terms apply when you use Motomart, an app run by Omar Amin ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.
What Motomart is
Motomart is a place for people in Egypt to list and find motorcycles, parts, riding gear and accessories. Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other. We are not a party to any sale: we don’t own, inspect or deliver items, we don’t handle payments, and we don’t guarantee any listing or user.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- One person per account. Use your own email address, and keep access to it secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Listing rules
- List only items you own or are allowed to sell, located in Egypt, priced in Egyptian pounds.
- Be honest: real photos of the actual item, and an accurate condition, year, mileage and licence status. Say clearly if a vehicle has no papers.
- One item per listing. A set sold together counts as one item.
- Buyers contact you through the WhatsApp button. Don’t put phone numbers, links or other contact details in titles, descriptions or photos.
Not allowed:
- Stolen items, or vehicles with altered chassis or engine numbers.
- Anything that is illegal to sell in Egypt, including weapons and drugs.
- Counterfeit gear presented as genuine.
- Services, adverts for other businesses, duplicate listings and misleading prices.
- Offensive, hateful or sexual content, and harassment of other users.
Review, reports and removal
- A new seller’s first listing is reviewed before it goes live.
- Anyone can report a listing. When three different people report the same listing, it is hidden until we review it.
- We may review, hide or remove any listing, and suspend or close any account, that breaks these terms.
- You can block another user; you then stop seeing each other’s listings.
- Listings run for 30 days and can be renewed. You can have up to 20 listings live or waiting for review at a time, free of charge.
Featured listings
Some listings are marked "Featured" and shown in the top places of results for a set number of days. We decide which listings are Featured. If we remove a Featured listing because it breaks these terms, it stops being Featured.
Buying and selling safely
Meet in a public place, inspect the item, and check the chassis and engine numbers against the licence before you pay. Never send money in advance. We can’t recover money or items lost in a deal.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to store, display, resize and share it as needed to run Motomart, including in links that people share. You confirm you have the right to post the photos and text you upload.
Our responsibility
Motomart is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for the items listed, for what users say or do, or for losses from deals between users. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete my account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top; continuing to use Motomart means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
